New Camera, Big Surprise :hot:

Great job with the new camera. Nice and clear. I believe you are very Good in understanding the CTX 3030 for only having it a short time. Some people like my self have
a lot longer learning curve. If the silver is not there the CTX can not find it. If it is there it will find it even in heavy trash. Good Luck hunting.

Awesome find! I saw that the TID kept saying 12-41, and that's consistent with some of the silver I've dug that's been large. My first WLH was with the CTX, and it said 12-41 @ 6". I'll NEVER pass over a 12-41 again without investigating it. Congrats on that beautiful coin! Amazing find.

Never hit a dollar yet. Surprised at the numbers for a large silver. On edge I guess accounts for it though. The sad part is.... I would have most likely passed right by it. I'm still focused on the Etrac numbers with mostly 42 and above. Good find. I think I;m going to dig everything on my next hunt, as this is motivating.

In the video, the dollar appeared to be on edge. In the process of loosening that last bit of dirt, it might have gotten turned, but didn't really look like it. I didn't see mentioned what separation mode vanbibr was using , but more than likely, either Ferrous-Coin or Ground-Coin. If you saw the tests of TID numbers early on, now posted on the CTX 3030 Classroom, when using Target Separation of High Trash Or Low Trash, silver dollars and silver halves, read on the FE 1 line. Using Ferrous Coin or Ground Coin, those same coins read on the FE 12 line. Just something keep in mind....HH

Great little camera for the money. It's small and lightweight. Waterproof to 10 feet, and shockproof up to 5 feet.
