Went hunting tonight with my new Kodak ZX5. Here's my first video.

Beautiful coin, great find. I have been using the ZX5 for over a year or so now - great camera to use for detecting. Interesting, it didn't hit great, even being so large. On edge coins are often toughy's.

Also, nice effect with the church reflection showing on the CTX screen. eheeh

Why were you running so much disc? Trashy spot? Sounded like combined mode?

Thanks everyone. You guys are so cool here. :clapping:

I was holding the camera in my left hand. I'm gonna have to get one of those magic arms.

I was running in Combined mode, Auto +3, gain set to 30, and Trashy Park with a special thanks to Bill S for that.
I was going to shoot video in pattern 2 with minamal disc, but the iron grunting was over powering the high pitch of the Morgan.


More video's to come hopefully. I have finally figured the CTX out and what it's telling me. Seems like every hunt
I'm pulling silver and Wheaties. What a great machine, and thanks to all the good people here who have made
learning the CTX a whole hell of alot easier. HH
