Yep that’s why I just ordered the 900 it may be all I need and I have a buyer for my 800 which will pay for almost halfYou may be right Daniel, it looks like I'm going to have plenty of time to put some hours on the new 900 before the Manticore is available. You just never know, I may end up canceling my order. But I sure do like the looks of that 2D screen nah, I'm not going to cancel LOL
I'm looking forward to your review on it. You always seem to go out and tear it up when you hunt.I just ordered a 900
Exactly what I’m doing I figured I can upgrade later mine will be here tomorrow I’ll post a few videos I’ll be out on my silver beach can’t waitI sold off my 800 in parts and pieces last week taking a gamble that the 900 would be available very soon. I will end up with a manticore, but it looks like I may be in for a wait.

I have the Aukey B80's, doesn't look like they make them anymore.... you want to make sure they are rated APTX low latency.....I'm in Llano, northwest of Austin....I envy youDan, if you dont mind what is the wireless setup you are using for ear buds??
And what part of our fantastic state do you reside? I am in the Houston area which has about 50-100 demos a week! Cant keep up.
So are you using something like a z-link? I realize I can plug in a set of low latency earbuds but I would far rather be sort of cord free.I have the Aukey B80's, doesn't look like they make them anymore.... you want to make sure they are rated APTX low latency.....I'm in Llano, northwest of Austin....I envy you
I plugged in a wireless transmitter, APTX Low Latency and have a couple of APTX Low latency wireless earbuds. So are you using something like a z-link? I realize I can plug in a set of low latency earbuds but I would far rather be sort of cord free.

That's why we moved from Lago Vista, it turned into a smaller version of AustinI was thru Llano the other weekend for my twice yearly hunting camp in Mason. I have been doing this for 20+ years. Always eat at Cooper's & take the leftovers into camp. What is amazing is the explosion of growth over the last few years from Georgetown to Liberty Hill. We have to break camp early in the morning to beat the traffic jams on 29. Maybe Llano will be spared the invasion for a while.
PM sent...non sponsor seller. Thanks it will be interesting for sure on my sites it’s plenty warm enough and we have had some serious wind and tides that should have moved some bank..
What cuff pad is that on your 900 Dan?

When the coil ears broke on my Xterra 705 they broke through the center of the bolt holes not at the base of the ear. It’s dubious that making the ears wider at the base is going to prevent them from breaking. I think I’ll preemptively reinforce the ears just to be sure. The threaded hole might work out. I plan on replacing the factory bolt with a slightly longer nylon one and adding a wing nut to act as a jam nut after I get the adjustment just right. Thanks for the information!!
Like you, I am wondering about that threaded ear on the coil.
How tight is the lower rod when inserted into the coils ears?
The 900 is so tight of a fit the bolt does not even have to be tightened I used some soapy water to fit it! I don't even want to try to tighten it!When the coil ears broke on my Xterra 705 they broke through the center of the bolt holes not at the base of the ear. Mine arrives sometime today. That'll be the first thingI look at after I plug the charger in.The 900 is so tight of a fit the bolt does not even have to be tightened I used some soapy water to fit it! I don't even want to try to tighten it!

You’ll like it it’s a definite step up from the 800 that’s for sure and that coil is a real tight fit I could not bend the ears unlike the 800’sMine arrives sometime today. That'll be the first thingI look at after I plug the charger in.
That bolt is also tight on the 700 11'" coil. The Coiltek 10x6 coil bolt however is a perfect fit. Used it last week before the storm hit. Will be a while before the snow clears enough to detect. You’ll like it it’s a definite step up from the 800 that’s for sure and that coil is a real tight fit I could not bend the ears unlike the 800’s
