New 9” coil

CT Todd

Well-known member
I just received my 9” coil for the manticore.
The silly thing is stable INSIDE my office at a sens of 18. It’s also as light as my D2. Somebody told me this. Kind of a wow thing. More tests obviously required. 😂

Todd, congrats on the new addition. The 9 in. coil seems to be the favorite, hands down. I can't help wonder if Minelab wonders how big was the bus they missed not putting one out for the Equinox. I only have 2 outings with the 9 but quite happy so far. On indoor air tests I was able to crank it up to 24 in AT-LC and was smacking nickels at almost unbelievable depths. Good luck. Mark

I have the stock 11 and the 15”

I believe the D2 is not as stable because of it being all wireless I cant use mine near a site where the train tracks are my Manticore I have no problem.
