Need some thoughts on this ring!

Found this today along with some clad, it's somewhat heavy not sure what it is! There is no writing on the inside, Any idea's?

Doesn't quite have that silver look. Silver from the ground typically cleans up nicely with a soap and water rinse. Looks like some flaking on the edges.....but, get it checked as tough to tell from pictures. Whatever, fun find! HH jim tn

It could be silver with nickel plating and the plating is starting to flake off.
Since you stated it has some weight to it, I doubt it is stainless.
Neat find.

Thanks for the response guys! It was hitting in the nickel range on my 900! Wonder if it's some sort of toe ring? Lol

Looks too big to be a toe ring.. I’m surprised it read like a nickel if it is some kind of base metal… this is an odd one for sure.
There appears to be something on the inside of the ring in one of the photos, but I can’t make it out..

I see what fwc is seeing too, looks like an A on the right edge plus it looks attached to something stamped in there that symmetrical in shape.
If its too big to be a toe ring I dont want to know what else thats a ring for…..
