Oh yes! We've been busy 'tecting! So far we've been very cooperative with each other, and our daughter, too! We take turns. We even bring the dog along. He can be helpful digging. We just say "Moxie, dig dig dig!" and he does. We've had the "yeller feller" one week today and we've been out 5 times! Just today Kevin said "I can see why the guys like this detector." We haven't found anything with any value, but are having fun nonetheless. We're still trying to think of places to go besides the beach. Any suggestions?

Parks,School Grounds/Playgrounds, Old Swimming Holes, Ballfields, Battlefields, Old Paths thru the Woods, Anywhere people gathered always gives up some good finds. There are too many to name. I especially like old Home Sites. Look around the area you live and try to picture where the old home sites would have been. Talk to the older people around town, they can fill you in on a lot of history about your area. Every city/town has a lot of history and good finds waiting to be dug up. But be sure to check MDing laws on parks etc. and get permission from private land owners. Always fill your holes back up. You'll probably dig a lot of trash until you learn your machine. But thats part of MDing. Don't get discouraged the good finds will come. Take the trash out with you and dispose of it properly.
I don't mean to sound like I'm giving you a lot of rules but we all need to do our part to keep a positive outlook on this great hobby.
Keep Swingin,Diggin and Findin.
Happy Hunting

I have read this thread and would like to say first to Lynne4t, no matter what that ACE pulls up your husband has already found what no amount of digging can, a great and loving family. Second to all the forum users I knew I liked this site, what a great bunch of people you all are. Its easy to lose faith in people given my line of work but then I see this and all is ok, there are still good people in the world.
