Need advice - lost ring

Hello yesterday my ring fell off my finger into this part of my yard that is apparently a 70 years of roots and growth that is endless. I saw exactly where it fell but as you can see in the photos there's these holes created by cinder blocks that were stacked on top of each other... In these pictures I have already removed a lot of the top foliage which was tons of leaves and stuff so when the ring fell it just disappeared into this stuff
I'm just trying to see if I have the right equipment or if you have any advice for how I could nail down exactly where to find this ring at
I purchased a minelab vanquish 340, It's giving me some hits but they all seem to have the maximum for how far down I have to dig, I'm not really finding anything up top. so I'm just hoping maybe from looking at the terrain I'm dealing with you might recommend a different metal detector or something to help me pinpoint where this ring might be -
Fyi, it's an Oura ring which are aerospace grade titanium I guess which I looked up and it says it should be able to be found by metal detector

Did you actually see your ring come off?
Couple of things ... it takes time to learn detecting. I think you have a good detector to find your ring and one that is not hard to learn how to use. Read the manual and learn to what the detector is telling you and what the settings are. It takes patience and digging. There are likely to be a lot of metal targets in the area you are looking. If the ring fell into one of the block holes, it will be deep.
Go over the brush you removed. Sometimes, the lost ring can be in the removed layers of leaves and brush. It can take a lot of digging targets you don't care about before digging the one you do care about.

I asked the first question because, when asked to help look for lost jewelry, in most cased when someone is "sure they lost it right here" after not finding it and expanding the search area will find it a long way from where they thought it was lost. In some cases, I have not found it and got a call days later that it was found in the car or in the house where it was set down when the person thought they had worn and lost the jewelry outside.

Do you own a pen pointer?
Try stomping the ground to eliminate possible rust signals. It won't affect the rings signature.
I would think the ring would have the highest signal among any others.
I'm convinced you will find it.

You definitely need a pin pointer.
Most detectors will only go a foot deep at best.
A pinpointer will allow you to detect as deep as your arm can reach.
I'm assuming that's an old footer.
Depending on the frost line in your area.
That could be 4-5 ft deep.
Id recommend a Garret carrot pinpointer.
Easy to adjust and near bullet proof.
If you can find a similar ring at a jewelry shop.
Ask to scan it with your machine.
Get an idea of the signal your looking for.

Yes I saw it fall off that's what's so frustrating about how I can't find it, thanks for the info I'll keep at it if there isn't a better piece of equipment for this

How deep do the blocks go ?
A pinpointer will really help.
They have a place to attach a lanyard so you don't lose them.
Tie a strong string to it and lower it down into the blocks.
If it's there. It will find it.
I believe the ring bounced all the way to the bottom.

I'm attaching a couple videos What would cause it to jump around so much while sitting in the same spot?
Or how I'll get a reading and then come back to the same spot and get a different reading or no reading at all?
Also when it's giving me the depth is it telling me from the scanner itself or from the ground because as you can see I'm going through the cinder block through that hole and I'm wondering if it's measuring from the top or from where the ground starts... I'm guessing it's from the scanner itself but just want to make sure

Bouncy signals usually mean "more then one target" in near proximity...as in a nail/foil/coin, etc. lying next to or near each other. Detector sees them all and is trying to ID each one, but proximity messes with accuracy.

You definitely need to use a pinpointer in this situation.
Pinpointers operate in all metal mode so just keep taking out all the metal signals you get and the ring will have to sound off eventually.
Do you have a pinpointer?

if you are getting bouncing numbers when the detector is held still, that is caused by electrical interference.
The depth reading will be from the height of the coil to the target.
Titanium will give a low number reading. I’ll see if I have one and tell you about what number it may read.
To me, it looks like you are dealing with a stack of blocks, not a foundation. If that ring is laying flat, it will be very hard to spot, but you should be able to locate it with a metal detector and or pin pointer.
I do have a titanium band and on my Equinox 800 which has the same scale as the Vanguish, it reads 14.
This is laying flat, but it is also pretty stable at the same reading on edge.

if you are getting bouncing numbers when the detector is held still, that is caused by electrical interference.

When it is jumping around when at the same spot, what is the audio doing? Is it giving a clear tone on a target? If it is just bouncing around randomly and it is interference, turn the sensitivity down until the detector quiets down and is stable.

One thing I noticed in these photos is that the coil is not positioned correctly…
The lower shaft needs to be repositioned 1/4 turn , but has to be completely removed in order to do this.
