Native American?

Found at a colonial site along The Great Indian Warrior Trading Path in Pennsylvania. I believe it's bronze, the right side is broken (an old break) and then there was also what appears to be a bead. Both found on the same site in the woods. Round piece of (bronze?) has 2 holes but it doesn't appear to go all the way through. Larger piece is heavy and has parallel grinding marks on the sides and on rounded tip.

Any ideas?

Judging by the photo, to me, it reminds me of a part of the scales of a knife. The holes would be for the pins that hold everything together. I do not know if it is a Native American object.
