Nancy -IL is in the hospital

Nancy, we are praying for a quick return of your strength and for your doctors to find a medication that will prevent another incident. We miss you.

Nancy got to come home this morning, still very weak, but resting comfortably. :clapping:

Dang!
You scared the crud out of me .
Larry, Please tell Nancy that I feel as the others, I am surely concerned, and my prayers are with her.
Like Floridason said, you two are the backbone of this forum!
You are like the "Detector PRO", and she is like the "MXT PRO" in my book.
A few days in the Hospital isnt a good thing at all !

And , I dont have any old nickels to send, but I would surely send my old 1901 Barber if that would help.
So I guess that would up the anty to 2 nickels for the others

I'll be thinking of you two, and you will be in my prayers,
Get Well Nancy

Dusty

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your kind words and prayers. You're the best. Doctor has me on some mighty powerful steroids and other medications and it might be a bit before I get these shakes to cease. Till then, I'm going to sit back and relax. You all are very special in our hearts. ((((HUGS)))). Now you get out there and show me how it's done. HH, Nancy

I note that the only way Larry can beat you at the dig, is by keeping you down..... Get up, and get out as soon as you can, you will surpass the old boy in no time...

Get well soon/Cliff

Glad your home and resting.
Get well soon and get back out there and find those nickels we missed...

(((Hugs back at ya)))

PS, I'm getting better every day..... KC

I don't have to worry about that KC, we have over 2 feet of snow on the ground and up to three more inches coming this weekend. It is going to be a looooong winter this year with new record breaking snow. We envy you Southerners.........:veryangry:

Larry... it's time for you to move South.
Nancy ...... Prayers to you for a fast recovery!

Nancy...we wish you the very best.......and get well soon...

Chronic asthma can be quite miserable, but at least it's only been the last few years. My Dad suffered from it most of his adjust life. I recall when he was down at home and having a tough time breathing. Mom was there at his side and had to send me off to the local little grocery to pick up some things so she could fix dinner. I was only 5 at the time and quite often through my life I saw him suffer from many asthma attacks.

We are native of Utah but moved to the Portland, Oregon area when I was 10 and Dad was 42. It's a bunch wetter around here and the humidity is higher throughout the year than 'back home' in Utah. No, not wet all the time as we do get some longer drier summers, but still more humid than in the higher desert country. Like many I had heard that living in Arizona and similar places where it was a drier climate was supposed to be healthier, but that's not for everyone. Dad tried to move back to much drier Utah but found that with his asthma and breathing problems, he did better in a somewhat cooler air and with more moisture in the air, so it was back to the NW for him to stay.

So, perhaps it's just one of those periodic uprisings you're dealing with, or maybe too much winter cold, but in the long run you'll be better off where you are than some other place like Hawaii or a warmer, drier environment. Besides, those drier places might have had more year-round hunters to thin out the coins and your success will be better where you are (until you and Larry deplete what's left in the ground there, which it seems you're trying to accomplish :) ).

Get well as Spring is around the corner!

Monte

Dearest Monte and others,

Thank you. We've got our roots planted here in Illinois and this is the type of weather for me. This seems to flair up every winter with the house closed up and the winds blowing cold air. We are one day closer to Spring.

It's not a pretty sight to see someone having an attack, and I'm sorry you had to see your father like that Monte. Today is the first day that I've felt almost human since before Christmas. It's going to be a great day! Even with more snow falling, it's not going to burst my bubble.

Thank you all............my friends,
Nancy

Nancy,

Glad you are back !!! You should consider moving down South. That way you, Larry and I could :twodetecting: :detecting: all year long . When it gets too hot in the summer, I just go inside and get some COLD AC...... Take it easy. CCH

Glad to see you're home. Just take it easy and relax. Do as the Doctor tells you and you'll be as good as new very soon. I'm sure General and Maggie realized something was different when you were at the hospital. Good to see you back on the forum. Jack

Nancy & Larry------I just now seen this post or would have responded sooner.----Sorry to hear of your problem Nancy but glad to hear you are back home now.---Take it slow & easy till you get your strength back.---Patsy & I will hold you up in prayer.--------God Bless, Del & Patsy

I too am glad to see you back. Like Del stated, I'd wished it earlier, just didn't "pop" in to see what the MXT'ers were up to! Take care!

Glad you're feeling better Nancy. I've been away from the forum so I just now saw the post or I would have responded sooner. You've (and everyone else out there) suffered enough this winter. As the others have said, you and Larry are a great resource on here and your encouragement and compassion are always appreciated. We hope you're feeling 100% soon, your skies are sunny and warm and every hole you dig holds a treasure.
