Yeah, I'm slightly obsessed, the heck with what people think.In some ways I thank goodness we are miles apart, if we on these forums lived in the same county we would have plenty of MD buddies but not much to dig.

That was my same thoughts after I wrote that post. I don't want any of you treasure grubbing guy with in a 100 miles of me. You all are obsessed,fanatics and are good at finding were the loot is.
I don't think Portland is big enough for Bill and Monte.

This was a great thread to follow, some of the comments were great an' a good laugh to boot.
Have you noticed that since you took up the hobby and started showing friends that come round your finds.

I am not sure what my wife thinks of MDer, however she has never turned down one single ring or any other piece of jewelry I offer her, and she proudly says "My husband found this with his metal detector", that is good enough for me.
