My take on the VX3

I used rechargeable AA's in my alkaline pack and separate charger with my MXT for many years. Extra alkaline packs and a charger for 8 cells are cheap. It's also easy to get AA's with more MAH then those in the rechargeable packs. It's an economical solution.

I'm a DFX user, My question is, will the coils I have for my machine work on the VX3 if they're V coils ?
Forgive me if this was mentioned in previous posts. If it was, I missed it.
I have a 6x10 and a 4x6, I know the 6x10 is a V coil..
 
Yes, to get maximum performance with the VX3 or V3i you will need V rated coils to be able to run the higher gains. The 2 detectors use the same 3 frequencies so they both need the same coils. Non V rated coils will work to varying results.
