My Silver Day...Son Helped

Hello All,

My son who is twenty-one just got interested in metal detecting. That is probably the most awesome part of this post. He has never had the patience for it in the past but that is what old age and wisdom will do to a person.

He found the 38 gram silver bracelet shown in the photo and also the small silver toe ring. I let him borrow my Sand Shark. I found the other two pieces with an old battleaxe 1265. My arm hurts.

He has yet to find a gold ring but we are going out tomorrow to the same spot which was giving up a subsantial amount of heavy targets. If anybody has a Sand Shark they would like to sell I'd be interested as the 1265 does not cut the mustard in the surf.

Hi harvdog42, I envy you. I would be so happy if my son showed an interest in detecting. He's 18 so maybe there is hope for me yet! Good job on the hunt too! :thumbup:
