My really pitiful day. Don't laugh..

Uncle Willy

I hit a tot lot and two big playgrounds to round up this pathetic mess. Couldn't believe it. The tector Gods must hate me. :) But it was an absolutely gorgeous day and 75 degrees.

It could have been worse, Uncle Willy. There's an old proverb, " Halitosis is better than no breath at all." Who knows, maybe next time, GOLD....

That's better than what I sometimes bring home... But most important is that we have a good time while detecting..

HH, Eric

More than what I'm getting snows gone but ground frozen as the temps are below at night .

I'm in the same boat as Joel. Not digging any holes without a jackhammer. A bad day of detecting is still better than a good day at work.:detecting:

Is that all ! ?:surprised::bouncy: The reality of my detecting world is that some days are diamonds and some are cubic zirconium's. Don't feel pressure to perform buddy, we all know that you're a guru and have forgotten more than I know about detecting. I often don't post up my plain days because of my ego. But maybe these plain detecting days allow us to appreciate the exceptional finds now and then. In my 4-5 hunts this winter I have found only clad except for one silver band and one silver quarter which I am grateful for, as it could just as easily been pure clad. Which although not my favourite, is darn fun after a long cold ugly winter. It's all good buddy, but then, you knew that.

You're stil my hero, Bill. Put it on the pile with the rest of your loot.

Chris

Like ya said the other day, at least you didn't get skunked!!!

Hey Uncle Willy. 4 days ago I went out for about 6 hours swinging my 10 x 14 DD and found 4 cents !!!! The next day I went out and found $3.50 in change, a camera/cell phone, a digital camera and a Budweiser bag with a t-shirt and ball cap in it. All buried in the sand. The Budweiser bag hit because of the zipper. The cell phone with camera I returned but I sold the working digital camera for $30.00 today at the flea market. Every day is different. 4 cents one day and you do good the next. Keep your spirits up.
