Most seasoned hunters on the forum take the time to PM people when they have questions and have a one on one discussion off line, via PM's. Heck, some of us actually send our phone numbers and TALK to people.

So if you are really serious about having discussions regarding tips and helpful info, the guys n gals that will go out of their way to help, will PM the individual in a lot of cases.

Now, the people who end up spewing garbage, will have their posts deleted...and what better message for ALL, is to delete the entire darn thing.

I think the moderators have had enough of the garbage.

really? then why does this forum even exist? your logic is very flawed...SMH And how does information shared by 2 people via text, phone, etc. benefit the community? For those new to the hobby that search for information, they will not find it if its behind closed doors  on that note you are doing a hell of a job to run away potential customers with all the negative attitudes.

Why not, that's what they were. The two I got rid of are involved in most of the nasty post on this forum.

Censorship, well this is a private, commercial site. Not owned by any manufactures. We don't censor, but we do sweep the house when needed.

This page is to talk about Tesoro detectors. It's not set up so that users can get into a pixxing contest with each other, sell your unwanted items, or advertise your business. You want to bitch at the company, direct it to Tesoro. If you want to move on, don't let the door hit you in the arse.

Here it goes again. bah bah bah free speech bah bah bah I don't like how it's done bah bah bah If they don't do what I think they are going to fail bah bah bah and we all know who the pot stirrers are. drip drip drip drip whine whine whine bah bah bah. If you don't like how Tesoro does business go elsewhere or start your own metal detecting business.. If you don't like the rules of this forum, go elsewhere or start you own. I promise you that your business, your opinions and negative attitude won't be missed by the majority of the Tesoro forum users on this forum.. Enough already!

I decided selling the Compadre would be a bad idea. I'm glad it worked out the way it did. I had a touch of the "grass is greener" syndrome, but I'm okay now. Plus the daughter reminded me how we found that gold ring worth twice as much as the Compadre. She plans to still use it, apparently.

We all get bit by that bug once in a while, I know I do, but I always go back to light and easy

And if you have, then the loonies probably run it.. Private enterprises are not a democracy.

As far as my logic goes, let me guess...whenever you have a problem you go outside on your lawn and ask the 'community' to help you solve it. The forum is an avenue to start with...when you get some knowledgeable people posting comments that you feel are valuable, reach out to them on a more personal level via PM...you will be surprised. Some of the guys here have documented a lot of their findings and put then in a format where they can cut/paste them in a PM or send them via e-mail, if it relates to a specific question or problem you have. I have done this numerous times.

Some others, if you call them, will talk to you for an hour, discussing hunting techniques and equipment.

I got your back on this one Bill. Keep weeding out the garbage.

Well Rover, I think you have made it clear that you have never ran a successful business.

I got your back on this one Bill?

Are you the Forum Bully? because thats what you sound like.

That's funny Tabman because I thought the same of you, when you posted your unnecessary bla bla bla post, that you always do when threads go south.

How about we keep it real, and bring some integrity back to the hobby!

I think a lot of members of this forum feel same as I do. We're getting tired of hearing the same ole bah bah bah from a few posters who just want to start some crap.

Looks like I started something again.(by accident) Anyway, took the Outlaw out yesterday to an 1800s house place that has been dug several time by me and others. Thought we had cleaned it out pretty good. After my dig, I'm convinced I made the right decision coming over to Tesoro. Loved the way the Outlaw disc. out the nails and hit hard on the small items. Still learning. Here are some of my finds after an hour or so of digging. Thanks for the helpful replies to a Tesoro beginner.

Nice, looks like you had a good time, and the Outlaw is working out great!

Nice hunt . It looks like you did and will do real well with your Outlaw . Those are some pretty vintage Shotshells. Have there been some real old coins taken out of there previously that you know off ? .

The first dig my buddy got a V nickel and a Barber quarter, don't remember the dates, and that's been all. I will be back there soon. I might try the small coil next time. The place is full of nails. You would think there would be more coins. I'm going to keep on trying though. I have a renewed confidence with this machine.
