My new Vision

New member
I went to Cadillac Michigan to my nearest Whites dealer today and purchased a new Vision. I would like to give a special thanks to Jerry Lawhead the owner of Jerry's Metal Detector Sales in Cadillac. He was able to get one of these Visions and get it overnight. Jerry not only sells detectors he spends many hours every year using them and showing is customers how to use them. He goes above and beyond his call as a dealer to help his customers. I first read about the vision last saturday and knew I wanted to try one. All the great posts have been very helpfull. I got out for about 2 hours with it tonight and had a successful hunt. A 1914 and 1918 wheatie a 1903 barber dime 2 quarters 1 dime 1 penny half of a spoon part of a zink lid and im not sure what the round thing is in between the spoon and lid part. My first impression of the vision is it is going to be an awsome machine once i learn and remember everything it is telling me. I was a little unsure about the extra $200.00 for the wireless headphones but after using them i wouldnt be without them they are simply awesome. The analyze screen is going to be very helpfull too once i remember what the 3 frequency waves do with the different things in the ground. I am going to make a test garden with all the different coins at different depths on edge with some foil and nails by some and do some testing.

Congrats on the new machine. Also for buying from a local dealer that spends the money and takes the time that lets all his customers
put their hands on the machine before they buy. Granted you may have to pay a few extra bucks over mail order but most local dealers that stock and take the time to demo aren't making all that much money anyways. Good luck with your new machine and I will look forward to your posted "Trail Treasures".
