I received my Atpro wed. and didn't have a chance to mess with it til this eve. I put the DD coil on and no falsing,no problems. I also ordered the 6.5 x 9'' coil. I put it on and shook it, wiggled it etc. no falsing,no problems. I have to admit putting the coils on was a pain ( I may leave the 6.5 x 9 on for awhile cause I don't think I have the patients at the moment to change it again) I have big hands and little patients. I can't wait to get this baby out in the field.

Buy yourself an Extra lower rod and hardware for it. Makes life very easy when switching out coils.

Looking forward to your results, especially using that 6.5" x 9'' Proformance coil. I ordered the larger Proformance coil earlier this week as I am a coin and ring hunter mostly. The AT Pro runs on 15 kHz....the same as the Garrett Scorpion Gold Stinger which is real hot on rings, especially gold ones.

I have to agree with you on that one, or, bring along another detector with the sniper coil attached if that one is your alternative.
