My Mom Died Today of Alzheimer's. In 2006, Everyone Remember Your Moms and Dads and Spend As Much Time With Them As You Can.

I quit my $60K/yr job at a Fortune 200 company to take care of my parents at the end of 2001. I have not regretted it since. I was able to be at her bedside when she passed and to help my dad through a very tough time. It is not for everyone but the time I spent with my mom and the time I still share with my dad are some of the most personally rewarding of my life.

Sounds just like my life in october, parkinsons , pneumonia, pass in her sleep.. her passing allows me the opportunity to live at the beach but it happened about 10 years too soon ( at least). I feel your pain.

Remember one thing - Nobodys ever come back - so it must be a nicer place.!!

God Bless !
