Took the Minelab CTX out to the trashy park I know of today. Dug two nickles (big surprise for me), several clad and MUCH more junk I didn't grace you to see. lol

I can tell you this machines does not do the "iffy" signal like the other Minelabs. Sometimes digging iffy signals pays off with the E-Trac. If the CTX says its junk... Its junk! lol It will take me awhile to believe it though. I am a long time E-Trac guy and I learn slow! lol

I'm the same way Bart. I have come to the conclusion if you think the 3030 is lying to you you are just practicing your digging technique. The E-Trac gets me on deep targets sometimes but so far I have been impressed with the new ML. I have'nt tried 2TF yet but I do like the 4 tone CO. HH

I with you Bart if the ctx gives a iffy don't dig unless you like digging if it hit hard it dead nut on almost wore my self out digging those iffy today and got monkey butt doing it so I've quite that

Yep, iffy signals haven't panned out for me on the CTX like they did on the E-Trac. I think the CTX is just that more accurate if set up right.
