My finds over the years with the garrett sea hunter and fisher impulse

*holds Sea Hunter mark II in my arms and whispers "my precious" with a gollum voice* :D This beeper seems to be a keeper!

FANTASTIC finds!!!

YOU ARE TRULY THE MAN!!! HOW MANY GOLD AND PLATINUM RINGS IS THAT? CAN YOU GIVE US THE SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM BREAKDOWN? YOU ARE THE NEW "MR. GOLD.!"

Thank you for all the nice comments. The total is about 300 gold rings 200 silver rings 40 platinum rings about 20 gold bracelets and 30 necklaces. None of the silver rings and most of the platinum rings were not shown in the pictures.

 Super.

Had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman here in Grand Cayman while he was here doing a little bit of detecting. Super nice guy and was trying out his new Excal II. He said he wasn't having any luck yet but he had only been here a day. Here's a pic of my haul so far for this year. Hope your luck turned around for you while you were here, may not have been one of your 52 ring weeks, but hope you found some goodies.

Chris

Another planet! I've been in action since 1980 but I think it would take myself a couple of lives more to reach something similar.

Most of my jewerly came from the Caribbean, I've been metal detecting sense 1967( relic hunting ) Hunting the water maybe 15 or 20 years. Vacation time only. My best 2 weeks vacation, came home with 52 rings . 36 gold and 16 silver. They were the good old days.

Chris, I found 7 gold rings while in the caymans . Soon as I get time I'll put a picture on the forum. I enjoy talking with you while I was there. Remember dig all good sounds, three of these rings sounded like junk. Good Luck, Tom.

Tom,
Glad you had some gold in your bag going home. Next year we will have a boat and a hookah system. Let me know when you are headed back this way and we will make a trip or two out to Stingray city and the sand bar. If you noticed I found me a Plat ring about 5 days ago. There are 2 more people here on Vacation now, one with excal(Jed from NC...he is on the forums here) and some other guy swinging a ace 250.

7 Days from today I'll be on a cruise ship to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Isla Roatan..... If I can escape from the wife and kid I'll have to go see if there's any gold left in Grand Cayman. lol Someone told me some beaches to hit..if I can I will, regardless I put my foot down to the wife and said I'm detecting as much as I want on two islands.. period.. Hopefully she won't throw me off the ship. haha

You may do okay on the cruise, my first cruise I brought home about10 gold rings , two gold chain's and one bracelet. When the ship got to port, I would get a cab driver to take me to the most popular beach. But make sure you always have a way back to the ship . Don't get stuck on the beach waving good bye to your wife as the ship sail away because you didn't plan a way back. Good Luck, let me know how you do.
