my eTrac needs to find a new home

Several years ago I was active in the hobby but as I have grown older my equipment has just been languishing in the closet. These items need to find a good home, but since I have not been involved for a while I have no idea what they may be worth.

Here is some of the equipment I have:

Minelab eTrac with stock coil
Minelab carry bag
A second upper shaft with integrated Sun-Ray in-line pointer probe with discrimination
Sun Ray Pro Gold headphones
Sun-Ray Stealth x-5 Ultra Depth sniper coil
Garret Pro Pointer
Predator tools relic shovel with t-handle
Large white sand scoop
Several premium digging tools

Anybody tell me what these are worth?

Etrac .. $350-550 depending on shape.... Sunray X-1 probe.... $125-$175 depending on condition .. Sunray X-5... $65--$85.... Garrett Pinpointer $65-$75... Used Minelab bag ... $25... Predator shovel $50-$60... You might get more on eBay, but you're going to lose 14% because of the selling fees.

I haven’t picked this up since my initial inquiry because, well, because of basic procrastination I guess. So about $850 for the entire bundle would sound like a fair price? It doesn’t look like I can sell it here because of limitations on classifieds, and I get that, but I am just trying to get a sense for what a no quick, hassle fair price would be to clear out this bundle from my storage area. I guess I have to go eBay or facebook with it or something like that.

850 would be fair. The X-1 probe is worth 200 alone. I have the E-trac with x-1 probe. If anybody has used a etrac they will know it still is the best detector to find silver. I owned the 800 and now the Manticore.

Do you go to any metal detecting club meetings? If shipping costs are too high, try going to a meeting and ask members

I've sold and shipped several detectors , some were as little as $22 and my PI was about $35.
The prices you were given is if you are able to sell them on a forum, if they go to ebay expect much less, then you take it in the shorts with the fees.

Thanks. I will go to a local club meeting and see if anyone might be interested at that price. If you know anyone who might be interested please let me know. Again thanks.

You will find somebody eager to buy it. I have like 5 coils for it if somebody needs some for etrac

Alpharetta, GA. It’s near Atlanta.
PS If you havent sold it yet, I wouldnt worry too much about shipping costs. Check out pirateship.com. Free to join and they give discounted commercial rates, so its 20-70% cheaper than the rip off retail rates you get by paying normal rate. Been using them for years and highly recommend them!
