My DIV display...finally ;)

on Sat. We all pecked away at that Yankee hillside for awhile & there were quite a few Texas jokes floating around ........but come Sunday he was unseen till the afternoon BBQ :buds: They did take a photo of us for the DVD I believe....we'll see if it ends up on the cutting room floor :D

I was over to the West on Sunday since I'd not been clear over by the pond yet and given that we had to walk back to the tent by noon, we figured might as well make it a short walk, relatively speaking. I never did see you Sunday even at the BBQ. I was wondering if something happened and you might have had to head home early or something. That area was just so huge that unless you had radios, you could literally not see A LOT of the other hunters for the entire weekend. I kind of miss the dynamics of ol' DIV I where you could see everybody and everything for the most part. I just hope it's the first of many joint hunting opportunities for us. I wish I was back there right now!

where the cars were parked looked real good. But I'd see folks try it & by noon it was empty........not a good sign so we stayed in the bean fields. Did you hear everyone snicker at the meeting when John K said "bean fields"? :lmfao: As everyone knows now...these Virginia bean fields had more in 'em than just beans!! :D

is there's a bunch of folks who as soon as they're not finding the amount of things they have in their minds as "normal", they start to think about "the grass is greener", pay even less attention to details, and bail. Soon, it's like the rats leaving a sinking ship! :D That's all I did on Sunday was go back over areas that had been heavily hunted and the finds were still there. You should have seen how many bullets and buttons came out of the hill in front (NW) of the tent after the picnic. It was scarey!

You are helping me move from bullet idiot to bullet dummy. Maybe someday I'll hit a place that might have a CW bullet and now I might actually being able to identify it if I was to dig it up.

Thanks.
