Thanks Derrell. I forgot to mention that Lee found that quarter in a hole that someone else had dug. He ran his coil over this plug and got a good signal. Flipped the plug over and dug down about 4 inches and there she was!! I bet who ever missed that barber is kicking their behind now.:cry: I always recheck my holes and evidently this person didn't. I did the same thing by finding one of my rosie dimes in a hole that someone else dug.:clapping: HH.

I appologise Tom if you thought that I meant that you have never dug any key date San Fransisco minted coins. I had no doubt that since you live in the area that you have found your share of them and I hope that you didn't take my post the wrong way. HH.
