My best month detecting

Had a great January detecting in Kansas the ground was only frozen for a few days the whole month!
17 silver
46 wheaties only 44 pictured
1 v nickel
2 buffalos
2 HIPs
1 10k gold chain

I’m using a equinox 600 11” coil
Most of the time I use park 1 sensitivity all the way up.
Occasionally I’ll try to tweak the settings but always end up back on factory preset

I run the 600 the same way you do, I have 14 silvers an one gold this month

My 600 is set up the same as you guys. I only have 12 silver coins for the month, but also have 4 silver jewelry pieces. Hot 600's....? or location, location, location? HH jim tn

Nice month, Minelab has done a nice job with the factory settings. I would say your skill level is up there

That’s an incredible month of finds! I would be in silver heaven if I found 17 silvers in one month. You know your equinox well.

I attribute my finds to several factors.
Location-trying to detect different parts of the park I am normally drawn to.
Ground conditions-we have had a lot of moisture the ground is almost to wet.
Hot machine-running the sensitivity as high as the location will allow.
Speed-going slow and listening carefully to the signals.

Both those quarters were very deep and I was expecting a rusty square nail but was rewarded with a great silver coin.

Thats key look for some areas that are undisturbed I call it "old dirt" and work the area in all directions always works well
