My best Civil War find

Being from the Netherlands I was lucky to be able to spend four days of Civil War detecting in Virginia in march 2019. I found a Confederate Army cavalry officers sword belt buckle in four pieces 10 minutes before sundown on the fourth and last day of my stay.... First I found the tongue and then, circling around, I found the three pieces of the reef. I took it home and had it cleaned, glued and preserved by a professional restorer.

Congrats, nice find! That's on the wish list for a lot of hunters here in Va. I was lucky to find one myself.
