My 50th silver coin for the year.

I got out for a short 2 hour hunt Wednesday and found my 49th and 50th silver coins for the year. #49 is a 1954-D Washington and the 50th is a 1943-P silver war nickel. Now I just need two more to double the silver I found last year.
This year I'm averaging 1 silver coin and 3 wheat's every 2 hours of hunting. Is it the V3i or am I just getting better with it, I actually think its a little bit of both. It is a great machine when you can understand how to set it up correctly for the spot you are hunting and you can interpret those deeper iffy signals.

WTG Fire Fighter 43 You give me Hope with the Boost Power thing never tryed it????? Iv ben using my Eagle II SL 90 its a Oldy but Goody!!!!!!
Was the Depth accurate???? Mickfin, Thanks

The depth is within a 1/2 inch on most coins but it depends if the coin is flat or slightly on edge. Some of the larger silver are deeper than indicated usually 1/2 to 1 inch.

Thanks Fire Fighter 43 , Mic

Congratulations Jeff! Are you going to see if you can make 100 before the year is up?

I've been watching your vids for months. You responded to me on youtube for settings on the v3 when I first got mine. Thanks and I look forward to the next vid...

Great video! I air tested 3 different silver nickles I found and each had a different VDI number. They were VDI-19-52 &74. The years were 1941-44-&45.Can anyone explain this?

All of my nickels read the same out of the ground..........VDI 19 depending on wear, from shield, V, Buffalo and modern Jefferson. In the ground they wail vary some.

I just found a 42 war nickel this weekend . For me they read the same as all my other nickels. I once found 9 war nickels in one hunt at a boy scout camp. They all read like regular nickels. Rob
