My 25 cent depth enhancement for garrett propointer ...

I supertune and detune all the time with my wedding band. I supertune to get a tight pinpoint on shallow targets for popping coins, and when I am chasing a difficult piece of chicken wire or something in a hole.

My Propointer already picks up plenty deep. i want it to find the object in the hole my detector already found not detect metal objects 4" deep.

I agree totally !!!! that is why it is called a Pinpointer to narrow down the point of contact with the target in the hole not show that it is still is 3 inches deeper if you listen to your detector it should already have given you a sense of depth ""JMHO though!"""

Just because you have it doesn't mean you have to use,. at least you have the option in you want it.

Not sure I understand your responce! I simply meant that a Pinpointer is just what it is a pinpointer not a target depth finder. but if you feel the need to locate a target with your pinpointer at 4 inches after the detector has responded to the target I guess that is up to you . My statement was not bashing just simply My Opinion on what a pinpointer is for HH
