Have not been on for a while, I water hunt most of the summer, today I went out to cellar hole area that I hunted last fall and found a nice large cent.I used my 950 coil on the V3i which I like using. Got a signal around 10" but high fifty's low sixty's when I was deep enough I stuck my probe in and got a nice signal right off, got the coin out could not tell what it was ,too big for a penny,so put it in my pocket and then rechecked the hole with probe and again a nice signal, same type coin. I get home and soak it for a while and then i could see they were both 1864 2 cent coins. first 2 cent coins for me. Don CoCo Tyler Merrimack,NH

Nice 2 cent coins . I got a 1864 and a 1870 in 2006 in a park the only to I have found .

Make sure and check them for possibly be a "small motto" in "IN GOD WE TRUST"...it is a big deal. Nice finds there!

Nice coin!

Question - I have a 950 on the way. How does it run in heavier iron? I currently use the 6X10 mostly but switch to the stock coil when the iron isn't as bad (but the weight is hard on me.)

Thx,
EMS
