MXT...simply the BEST!!!

I don't want to hurt your feelings either, but if what you say is true, why bother to even keep the MXT? If I had a detector that kicked butt and was deeper, my MXT would sitting against the wall and gathering dust. Your opinion is yours but why keep the MXT if you have a better performing one? Rob

.....the debate over which detector "kicks butt" over another detector has gone on for years. And it's much like on the gun forums where guys are constantly debating which firearm and ammo is best at taking out a bad guy (BG). But guess what? Telling like it is goes like this - if you know how to use a firearm skillfully, you can take out a BG with a .22 pistol. Just like a skilled detectorist who is very familiar with his particular (any high quality brand detector) will "kick butt" over someone who doesn't know their machine very well. Personally, I've watched a guy use a Fisher and miss a ton of civil war relics that weren't deep in the ground at all. In fact my buddy cleaned up a civil war era fort with a Tesoro Golden Sabre II over the guy who was using a Fisher. And this guy was supposedly a "skilled" detectorist. So what conclusion does one come to on that? Either the Fisher metal detectors really suck or the guy has no clue how to use his machine. And I personally don't like that Fisher F-75. I was at a large organized popular hunt and this guy was going around without headphones on with that F-75 and it sounded like a flock of geese honking and tonking, very annoying as far as I was concerned. I'm just telling like it is too and don't mean to offend anyone. Just my opinion.

I've always used Whites, I've had a couple Garretts and didn't like them at all. Whites builds hardcore durable machines. A lot of it is knowing your detector too. I've found some mighty deep coins with my MXT, in February this year I was walking behind a Minelab SE user and dug a 10" barber he missed for some reason and he was going low and slow too. I was using my new at the time D2 coil.

We all know that whites make awesome machines....i know because i own one.However here is something else to think about.Everybody has their favourite machine and each person thinks their machine is the best so why do Nautilus keep winning the G**S every year if the mxt is so good....surely that should win it hands down.Just a thought.

HAVE YOU USED?DO YOU PERFER DITGITAL OR ANALOG?DOYOU EVER READ DETECTING MAGAZINES OR SEEK OUT DETECTING VIDEOS ON DIFFERENT DETECTORS?NOT SPEAKING OF THE UK ,BUT IN THIS USA THE TOP DEEPEST DETECTORS AND ALL AROUND DETS.THAT ARE MENTION IN THIS MAGAZINES ARE AS FOLLOWS:1266 X ,THE CZ FAMILY, T2,MINELABS EXPL. II ,SE,AND TRAC ALSO THE F-75 FORGET THE OTHER F-SERIES.I AM JUST TELLING YOU WHAT THIS ARTICLES SAYSO ,DO NOT TAKE IT SO BAD ,I AM KEEPING MY MXT ,BUT ITS NOT THE KING OF THE HILL,WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM THAT PERFERS THE XLPRO BY OVER THE MXT AND WOULD TELL YOU IT WAS THE BEST DISCRIMINATING DETECTOR WHITES EVER MADETHERE IS NO KING OF THE HILL IN THE USA!!

Hi Semper, why do you yell all the time? This loudness HURTS MY EYES!!!

Who is interested in comparison will read the magazines you do mention. Other people will discuss better with other people. And from time to time someone says "mine's the best".
He he, Nobody reports he has a 1600$ crap.

And all the pros know, >>there is no best detector<<.
If you're after real depth, you better own a pluse-induction one.(even in the usa).
