Mx sport update! Spectacular! One small issue...Tboykin?

the mx sport and the new mx 7 , if they had only gone with the eclipse coils ..........i wouldn't be dumping my sport
on the 'MX' series models with the exception of preferring the 9" spider like on my MX5. I sure wish they made one for the MX7 & MX Sport.
Anyway, the 950 isn't great for water hunting due to the buoyancy factor, but I prefer the 950 also over the stock 10" DD because the 950 makes a very good land-use search coil for low-to-moderate trashy sites. I'm glad they opted for that to be the 'standard' coil on the new MX7 instead of the 'nose heavy' 10 DD that comes on the MX Sport. Besides, most of the time, when I have an option, I prefer a good Concentric coil over a comparable-size Double-D.

The Best Darn Little Concentric Coil Ever Made!! ...Eclipse for MXT - V3i and the Bullseye for the XLT - XL Pro.
Accurate pinpointing and great depth. Retrieved a small gold locket w/partial chain attached at 8 1/2" down in damp soil with my XL Pro... Really surprised!
C'mon Whites, start cranking out the 5.3's for the MX Sport.
