I saw the Doobie Brothers sometime in the mid 70s ,, it was on a Wednesday night ,, and the coliseum was almost empty compared to other concerts ,, I always figured it was because it was on a weeknight ,,, but it was a great show ,,, got to get up real close to the stage ,,, this was back before they started making you stay at your assigned seat .These are all pretty new to me. As far as guitar bands go, I was and still am a Hewge Doobie Brothers fan. Especially their early stuff. Their music began to change some when Michael McDonald came aboard, but I still was a fan of theirs. Black Water is the ring tone on my phone.
