Mothers Day Irony - Dads Silver Ring and a nice 14k Diamond Ring.

Hey Everyone! I just came in from a hunt this Mothers Day morning and I managed to pull a couple of nice rings out of the ocean. My first ring gave me a chuckle. It was a .925 silver with the word Dad on it. It figures the DAD ring would show up on mothers day. I bombed around for the next couple hours finding coin and odd goobledy gook and then BANG BANG, I popped a very nice 14k triple diamond ring. I'll have to test em but they look good. Here's the at home game info: I used an Excal II in AM, My finds came from the wet-sand and from neck deep, and I hunted the high tide all the way to the low. Now I have to get cleaned up and go cook my momma some dinner! Thanks for looking and Happy Mothers Day!

Very nice. My day did not go so well. 15 mph winds and rocky sand...i tried a different pond. No luck. One nickle...and some iron. HH-Joe

That diamond ring is a beauty! Congrats! HH!

Nice gold and ice ! Congrats !!

Nice Ice! And your a good Son..........thanks for the hunting, and machine info...a good practice................joe

Thinking about coming to your side of the Gulf next year, got a few hunters just north of you I want to vid..Plus Gf said she likes the gulf better, after I planned a trip to Boca Roton, so east this year, west next? She said Indian Rocks ? That near you? Did the Guy contact you about selling your extra excal?

Glad your day was better than mine every beach I hit was sanded to hilt and had tons of people but no targets to be found other than few coins and trash. I enjoyed the hunt yesterday and have plans south early moring to see what I shake out of the sand.

DUDE, You broke the silver, silver, silver spell.:clapping: Congrats and well worth the wait I'm sure. I broke my 2 month no gold spell on Mother's Day also. It's not as nice as yours.....but it's gold, so I'll take it. Isn't it a nice feeling knowing you can re-start the countdown for the next one? Here's to the gold...:beers:

Well done Fellow Hunter!!

Gotta remmeber Dads on Mom's Day, after all if it weren't for Dads there would be no Moms!

Nice rings for sure and the setting looks antique to me, at least not common today!

GL&HH,

CJ

good luck

Nice finds! I was at Redington Beach last week and thought about trying to get a hold of you but forgot to get your number before I left. Found a nugget ring with a 1878 2 1/2 gold coin in it which seems to be very nice. Those 3 ft. breakers were keeping the depositors out of the water but will hit it again the last of June maybe we can hunt somewhere. Congratulations again on your finds. HH :minelab:

Cool Joe! Yeah Indian Rocks is like 30 - 40 minutes North of me but, when you come into town let me know and I will drive up to see you. There's some good hunting around there.

It was good hunting with you the other day in Clearwater Briley. Wish we couldve popped a couple that day but the sea gods were too angry.Hopefully I will see you soon on the East coast!
