The tides were good for a early morning hunt and I headed out at 7 low was about 9:30.
To started along a beach area going so with my recovery speed used to 7 on the manticore and quickly had my first mercury dime which they seemed to come up in twos near each other I went very slowly covering areas I’ve hit with the 800 and the site is loaded I mean loaded with old iron so you literally have to dig any good sound even one way because a lot of the coins are masked I don’t care what machine I’ve used it’s a dig all spot. I got a very rocky spot and found the 1909 barber on the surface between to rocks that’s why it’s still silver any of the tarnished silver was buried. The silver outnumber the wheats which is not uncommon in this spot also the lock was laying on the surface as were the old forks the mercury dimes are hard to see dates.
Thanks for looking good luck and try some water hunting.
