More CS Buckle pics

Thanks Sean, you just have to keep at it. I have been pounding the area where the buckle came from, hoping lightning would strike twice. I have found 6 CW buttons in the area since. A dragoon eagle, Connecticut State Seal, and 4 eagle buttons total now. There has got to be more.

How is the F75 in the all metal mode working out for you ?

Cajun, the area is so trashy. I tried all metal for a short time, but there is just so much trash, I abandoned it. I have stayed 2f. I really like the low grunts on iron and dig all consistent signals. I may still try AM in one particular area that is not too trashy one day.

Congrats on a great find! I am in Goldsboro as well, been hunting for 25 years or so.

Comisos, that's not really a Confederate belt buckle, but a Confederate Sardine can. I'll still offer you $5.00 for it, though it's virtually worthless.... (If you believe this, I'll be shocked! HA!). But they DO call them Sardine style plates (buckles). Awesome find, and they are thick enough to survive forever.
