Mojave defect?

At this price point there are few detectors that can match it on recovery and disc ability.
So I can understand many buying it based on Tesoro name, but not really knowing what they are buying.
Many, like me when I started, equated bells and whistles and screen to equal better.
First day with compadre was last day with my ace 350

Same here Stoof
I used a friends Compadre and promptly sold my ID machine.
Seems some folks want Tesoro to make what everyone else makes.

Still unsure what to make of the "defect" talk.
Seems pretty normal for concentric coil fields to tighten up at higher disc settings.
Rarely hunt with it past iron anyway.
Coins help pay for batteries but I'm looking for gold!

Seems to be a lot of used "like new" Mojave's out there for sale. Have not been out that long either.

Yeah, probably move mine out to a new home as well, of all the Tesoros I have owned and its a lot of models, I like the Mojave the least.
That's my personal choice, others may find it to be the perfect detector for them.

I have never used a Mojave and if i am honest i dont plan on buying one either, have also noticed a fair few are up for sale, the new 7'' coil seems to be a big hit as it can be used on alot of other older and new Tesoro machines and also various derivative models as well. They may well be a very good machine but when folks are selling them without coils as that is the only thing worth keeping it does make you wonder what Tesoro will bring too the market next if at all.It certainly wont be a total new machine probably a re-vamped Mojave with a new paint job and stickers

Even more Deus detectors for sale.
Guess they suck too?
Deus's have been out for a number of years. Where as Mojave's have been out less than 6 months. Many more thousands of Deus's out there than Mojave's. Even more Garrett's for sale also. Of course the more that are out there, the more will be up for sale. That's just plain old basic common sense...
