Modified hand grip on my SE.

I wrapped my foam grip with Scotch Rubber Splicing Tape. It is a highly conformable, self-fusing EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) based tape that fuses to itself not the foam grip. I wrapped mine several years ago and it's still looks like the day I wrapped it (plus a little dirt). It's easy to clean with just a damp cloth. I got my splicing tape from a electrical supply house, it can also be purchased from Lowes and Home Depot. One roll is enough to wrap several grips.
