modification suggestion to recessed deus controller buttons

I recently purchased an XP Deus and I could see immediately wyhy one magazine reviewer who was asked to review the hobby of metal detecting called it "the worst hobby in the world". The thing that bugged me right away was the recessed buttons on the controller. I found a suitable fix for that thx to Mr. Sabisch book on the Deus. Broke a fingernail before I purchased from Amazon the Neoera doorstoppers which fit perfectly on the keypad. Thank you, Mr. Sabisch for your suggestions and even I found this hobby to be very irritating at the outset I might grow to like it.

I'm thinking if you haven't learned to like the hobby just since you joined the forum and recessed buttons are irritating enough to not like it, you probably won't. But, that's just an early morning observation with but one coffee under my belt. HH jim tn

I had the same problem. Here's mine I did a while back. Works for me.
