SnakeRiver- If you click on the link in the original post it should be the video that pops up and starts to play. If it doesn't do that then it's the one with the gold $5 piece and three nuggets sitting on top of a meteorite. Thanks again everyone!
 
Have you tried getting your friends to share this? It can be spread through FB and other Social sites.
 
Angelic storm- I've been posting it my Facebook and numerous Facebook detecting groups but it's hard to get people to click stuff :(
 
So the two leaders have over a thousand votes, yet less than a couple hundred views? I know, you don't have to watch it, just vote. But when you can buy a 1000 votes for a $100, the whole process seems pointless. Good luck Dr. Tones, I hope Minelab confirms all those votes are from real people & not from a paid voting service.

This is similar to PPC (Pay Per Click) Advertising. I read a whole book dedicated to hidden tricks that could be used on the internet and that was one of them. It doesn't seem fair that you could win by popularity or cheating instead of winning based on quality. I hope Minelab turns around and judges each individual video based on it's content.
 
Wait??? These people are buying their votes? Thats not fair! I'm bothering a ton of people with this contest everyday trying to drum up votes and these people buying them through a service? Wow. Unreal. I don't know what to do now. I'd really like to be able to donate a machine but if my efforts are in vain I might just have to roll over.

Well DrTones, as I said in my post on page one, you the man when it comes to entertaining video's. It's ashame Minelab is going to let this unfair practice happen. They sure wouldn't like it if that was happening to them. On top of that they don't have the greatest track record to begin with, Like I said you make it seem like we are there with you enjoying every dig. At least you know as well as the rest of us, you tried to win honestley. Karma is real and sooner or later it will come around and bite them right in the backside. As for you, you will still have us as your video fans and most of all your friends. Looking forward to your next video, thanks for just being you, You fellow detectorist,Gene

about the closest I'll get to metal detecting today is watching some one stroll by swinging a detector on one of the Miami Beach live cams

I'm going to need to look closer at your video's! I haven't noticed hair on yer teeth before! I'll keep voting if it makes the hair go away, cost of living is to high already without having to shave your teeth!

I don't even want to IMAGINE how bad it must be, would be a tough decision to make between getting it cut or knocking out a front tooth to part it in the middle! Anyway, now back to our regular scheduled program, good luck with the contest!
