Minelab Excal threshold switch replacement

davespen

Does anyone have a part number or supplier for the Minelab Excal Threshold switch? I've removed the switch (internal stop broken) and contacted Minelab to request assistance or replacement part (no response). Thanks in advance for the assist...

if there is any reference numbers on it at all just put them into google and something might come up, either that or pop into radioshack and see if they have anything similar

I've thought about replacing mine with slightly bigger switches but afraid of breaking the knobs trying to take them off. Looks like I would have to pop the top of the switch but not to sure if that is the way to do it. HH

There is a difference between a KNOB and a SWITCH.
I will assume you are referring to the KNOBS not the internal SWITCHES.

A bigger KNOB will allow you to exert more force and break the SWITCH stop even quicker.
The KNOBS were engineered to be a bit hard to grip and turn for a reason.
The reason is the stops in the internal SWITCHES are weak and easy to break.
