Mid February BONUS hunt.:clapping: Got two 11" DEEP silver dimes.:super:

Heard we were supposed to get 5" of snow the other day...so I thought I'd make one more trip to the park with the sand pit.

Good thing I did because we did get dumped on.

There are no more areas for me that aren't frozen up right now...so this was my only choice.

There are no old silver coins within my reach here because over 8" of sand was dumped on this spot back in the mid 60's.

Each and every old coin here is at least 10" deep....and the slver here has been at the 11" level.

I pulled an 11" deep silver quarter here about 2 weeks ago...along with 5 deep wheaties.

With snow and freezing temps coming...I thought I'd give it one more shot. I just needed a break from the cabin fever...and my buddy Hercules wanted to run around a little.

I took my SE and Darrell's E-trac...and ONLY the 10 x 12 SEF coil along.

I was able to pull one more DEEEEEEP Roosey with the SE/SEF combo. It came out pitch black:ninja:...just like the '47 washington quarter a couple of weeks ago..and came from the same 11" depth level.

I then decided to put the 10 x 12 on "Heavy D's" E-trac.

After an hour or so I was able to sniff out one more deepie from the outmost part where they dumped all the sand.

This one was in part sand....part rock...right on the edge of the pile...and it too came from 11" down.

It was the first coin from here that didn't emerge dark black. I assume because it wasn't laying 100% in the deep sand like the others.

Hey...NO complaints here.:) TWO coins...BOTH silver....MID February...SNOW everywhere...AND my buddy Hercules got to run around.:clapping:

I think this was my FIRST EVER hunt where I dug TWO coins from measured depths of 11" each...AND they were BOTH silver.

After all the action:biggrin:...Herky decided he would get his orange mail truck toy:)...fetched it a few times:)...growled at it a few times:cool:...then just relaxed with it.:bouncy:

awesome Bryce, congrats on that deeeeep silver!!! sounds like that coil is definitely a winner picking out dimes like that at 11" deep... wow!!

WTG Bryce!!!
Congratulations on the two silver dimes that you
dug from the 11" depth. It's good for you to be able
to get out with your good friend and dig some silvers.
Thanks for sharing and hope you guys don't get tooooo
much snow. Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

Congrats on those deepees. You are the man on those signals. I am going to try and get out tomorrow snow or no snow. Those Sef coils are looking better and better, I will have to get one. HH

Thanks for responding...and good luck playin' in the snow,

When G-Money's shoulder heals up...the3 of us need to hook up and do some diggin'

For me...it IS definitely a winner in my soil and at my sites.

I did find one 11" deep dime with the pro coil a few months ago...but the sounds are so much more crisp for me on the SEF.

Pro coil is an excellent coil...but the SEF works better for me.

Sweet deep digs Bryce. Congrats!! I can't wait to get out again.

DO:clapping:...and I don't care whether it is a '64 Roosey or an old seated coin. As long as it's shiny...I'm thrilled:bouncy:

Thanks Bob. It won't be long...and this hunt was just a bonus one.

The ground will softening up for us in 6 weeks or so. YIKES...that IS a long time when you think about it.

If I get the itch in the next month or so...I might go back to the sandpit one more time...but I will need a bulldozer to get any deeper.:crylol:

make sure you call me and let me know how the surgery ends up.

Hopefully you won't have as many problems this time. we need to get you healed up before the detectin' season hits us.

Thanks for responding bro.

I'm with ya there Bryce. My heart always skips a beat whenever I hear that faint bicycle bell sound and see the cursor staying up in the upper right corner. If people could hear me talking to myself they would hear me saying, "oh ya, oh ya". LOL

You have a way with words and I always enjoy how you say what you say:cheers:
Congratulations on finding 2 coins 11 inches down. You have quite the tuned in ears.
You also have a faithful friend. Does he help you dig too?

Next time I willcome prepared with some protective covering for my snacks. You know how I get when I'm hungry...lol
Nice deep digs and you know I like your pal Herk.

He actually did start hammerin' one of the holes I started on.

Every time I started scraping out sand...he started to fire away with both paws:bouncy:

Kinda' like that time I was trying to get at that quarter...and all of a sudden your big mits appeared:smoke:...then dirt started flyin' everywhere:clapping:
