If what you both say is true than you have every right to be upset and I guess Ism should retract his statements and video. There would be no way to tie anybody to those ugly holes unless the two videos show distinct characteristics to the holes and surrounding grass being dugged that could be matched to each other. Lacking that, since you say you witnessed other hunters in the area and several days had passed before the follow up video was filmed, I'd have to agree that there is no way to prove who dug those holes, so without proof the accusation should be removed. Can't argue with that, and I doubt anybody would come forward to make such a definitive statement that they didn't dig those plugs unless they felt very sure about it. That alone says something as to the validity of your remarks, so I for one will withhold further remarks until I see proof one way or the other. I've been accused of things myself in the past I was not guilty of so I know the feeling and that it can very well happen.
A few months back I was detecting an old park and came upon some rather ugly plugs. Many of them were even placed back in the hole upside down. I fixed what I could but the damage was beyond repair for cosmetic reasons. I constantly had this nervous feeling that should the law or a park worker see those plugs while I was hunting they'd end up blaiming me for it. Sure enough, a little while later some grounds crews showed up at the park to do some nearby yard work. That was enough for me, so I packed up my things and left. Should I have stayed and they saw those plugs while I was detecting, I have no doubt I would have been on the hook for possible monetary damages to repair the place. So, I can see how it can happen, and if other hunters were working the same site you were then I have no doubt those plugs could have come from somebody else. Point well made.
