metal detecting rivers

Yes! It is nice working in slow moving rivers. Working into the currant digging all the sand and mud blows behind you so you can see what you are digging. Good luck!
 
Ditto! However the water can get muddy after some stormy weather and run off hitting the river. Watch the current. It's deceiving how little it takes to move you a bit and if you stir up some mudd it's not too hard to get disoriented. If you are going to be down 6' better start thinking about getting trained to dive and decide if you want to do SCUBA or Surface Supplied Air. Good luck. jim

I am thinking of going with Hookahmax a little later this year. I hope it will get me at least 20 feet.
 
I hope the current is extremly slow. I only dive one river and a hookah would be absolutely impossible.
