Met up with Nailfinder today!

Spoke with Nailfinder last night about meeting up and digging this morning and it ended up working out so I made the trip from Rolla to Ironton (about 1 1/2 hrs). He is easily one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and I had an awesome time. He will be digging on some of my sites next go-around in my neck of the woods.

Dug quite a few chunks of melted lead, fired bullets, an ornate stamped brass piece w/ woman's face, modern brooch, eagle I cuff, eagle C cuff, broken button, small buckle, teardrop bullet, and 1885 Injun

My favorite is the ornate piece with the woman's face. Great finds.

They seem to be in about every US camp I've hunted in Missouri. I see them mislabeled as CS all the time for some reason.

I think its some type of glazed walnut.. I found it in the basement of an old house my parents own.
