The messenger on this forum is a little different than the old one.

To send someone a message, click on the envelope icon next to your username in the upper right corner of the forum. A box will pop up and you will need to click "To start a new conversation" near bottom of that pop up box.

The reason for the name change "conversation" is that you can now include more than one member into the conversation ie. "group message". Only those who are listed is in the conversation will see the messages.
