After reading some posts about keeping a log I thought I would post a picture of the one I just put together for this year. Its pretty simple, just a printed version of the microsoft works log that I keep each year put into a binder along with binder sleeves that hold the keeper coins/tokens in the order found with the date and location on the 2x2 cards.

I've been doing this 2 years now, which is how long I've been detecting, and I recommend it as a great way to keep track of things and a great way to relive hunts in your memory. Microsoft works program allows you to insert pictures from your computer right into the log as you go so when the year ends you can print this out and have a record which includes the pictures in order of your days afield. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="
