MDing videos...

most are boring, some are staged... I was thinking about making at least one. I would try to make it as real and as informative as possible. a bit on the entertainment side... I am a song writer and have and idea for a great intro song... 80's style heavy of course. my problem is I am technology challenged. I do not have a smart phone or a go pro...so how would I accomplish such a thing? how would I put it all together? hmmm..... thoughts? there are already 4 guys from my AO that have youtube channels about metal detecting... I don't want a channel just to make a video and see where it goes! thoughts?

Gunwolf, hope you make the video. I enjoy watching most but 2 points to beware of (I'm sure there are more). 1- One I watched the wind was so bad that it sounded like the guy was recording a jet engine up close. 2- This particular guy found a target and swept his coil over it 19 times. He would stop and then repeat the sweeping. I lost interest and went to another video. Most videos are great and I appreciate the work that goes into making them. Some are not thought out too well.

actually recorded some of my hunt this morning... live digs and everything...came home and the video sucks... so a digital camera will not work.... it can focus in close but then takes forever to focus out... it sucks being an analog man stuck in a digital world...

You think you've got it bad ,, you're still ahead of me ,, I don't really know the difference between analog and digital. If I could make a video,, I don't have a clue how to post it either.
