Has anyone heard if they will be releasing any of these in larger quantities? Got a couple hard core Minelab Friends that just switched to Xp Deus II as they are tired of the waiting and waiting and waiting... I hope Minelab sees this.....

Always a slow release on new units regardless of brands, I know it's frustrating but good things come to those have patience.

So much for selling before Christmas!!! That's a huge missed opportunity! and you will have people that will jump ship as they are tired of the ML Games. It's not like an Xp Deus II is a slouch! I also think they have a 5 year warranty instead of just 3 year.

Although immediate gratification would be wonderful, we must be patient and realize every country in the world wants and gets a few right off. No way can a company like Minelab tool up and meet demand right off. Its just not feasible, or economic. Those that aren't willing to be patient perhaps will wish they had. Anyway, I'm to old to let not getting a new detector offering right now, ruin my day. HH Jim Tn

That is just about where I'm sitting at this point. I was a bit of a fence sitter to begin with but got on a pre-order list early and should be getting the notice that the dealer has one for me soon but have pretty much decided to opt out. We are in the throws of Winter now anyway and the ground is frozen , temps are low and winds are up. Playing with a $1500 detector in the EMI infested garage for two months doesn't have a lot of attraction to me,,,,,,,possibly the ML distribution strategy has taken that into consideration.

Its springtime in the southern hemisphere where Minelab is headquartered. We don't like being second fiddle LOL This is for whatever reason is the exact timing as the Equinox.

It seems like they made the demand high and now there are plenty of 900's online? make the people want the most expensive by a created demand.
The Manticore was the first new release since the 800 then they say a new equinox after the Manticore? And now the 900 arrives first after the announced release of the Manticore.
Good marketing on their part.

Not sure I would agree with good marketing on there part! Lots of dealers are pissed off and are saying this is typical Minelab games just like the equinox release. I won't be buying a 900 as its there! I'm first on my dealers list so when he gets an MC then I'll get my machine.

They all seem to do that i think they created a demand and make people wait for the latest and greatest I’ll wait be happy with the 900 ,
And maybe buy one later when all the excitement wears off which it will on the manticore and buy one for way less than retail.

Yes that’s how I see it a win win to upgrade not like buying a stupid iPhone or the latest iPad I could care less never in my life have I owned my own personal computer never will!
