The kittens,skunk and possum aren't near the trouble as the raccoon is. I had a raccoon get in my attic one fall,tore the ceiling insulation up and piled it into a den at the end of the attic. She wintered there and had 3 young in the spring, i had a heck of a time getting them to leave in the spring. It cost about $200 to fix the insulation.
