Hey Elmy I don't think it's lack of interest I think it's lack of spare time with everything that's going on lately in the world crazy times my friend I can't get out for another week I'm ever so busy in the spring I'm hoping to get out swinging for some goodies next week 
Would someone be kind enough to lay out this magic program please. Gaz.

Being my usual sarcastic self...that is another example of why I don't swing an Etrac any more...ALWAYS ONE MORE PROGRAM, ONE MORE SETTING, ONE MORE TWEAK!!!
My point = "If the last program was the 'cat's meow'...WHY make MORE changes and after doing so...ONLY GOD knows IF they are truly an improvement or just different!!!
FRUSTRATION, pure and simple! Yep...IDEAL machine for Nuclear Physicist and Rocket Scientist. Dr. Fauci probably owns one.
My apologies for those I've offended. I KNOW ya'll are just trying to get the most out of the mega-machine...I just don't think you will ever attain satisfaction OR peace of mind.

GAZINUK.....just forget the program and all others too.....I am so done with all of this. So with some naysayers around, Just because you can't run it doesn't mean others can't.

Again, my apologies to you personally. You are the acknowledged GURU for the Etrac and have achieved due recognition.
BUT...in a way...I am here to help those who never achieve satisfaction/fulfilment/peace with your idea of the perfect detector.
We differ in that I do not find peace in hunting for hours in the heat, come home with some treasure...BUT wonder what I missed...IF, I'd just made 2 or 3 modifications and retraced my steps another hour or two. Not my idea of fun...OR...the ideal machine.
I honestly recommend you continue your pursuits...I'm POSITIVE it helps many Etrac users who are/were frustrated by the machine like me.
These folks , and I would not care to guess how many, have you to thank for at least with me giving up helping anyone.
You must be very proud of your self now.

Folks that still have a E-Trac, you need to give Elmy's magic a try. it works just like he says. I have been running the E-Trac since 2017 and I was on line reading and looking for some settings and patterns and trying what I find.
I was about to give up and I hooked up with Elmy, and at first it took me some time to come around and start to understand what he wanted me to do. I think the turning point came when he wanted me to try the long sound settings and he sent me a link to a video of a guy showing the difference. From that point I have been on in with what Elmy has developed.
So for those that haven't already gave up on the E-Trac I would suggest giving it a try and posting how it works for you.

Not a good decision on your part...and I'm certain you're a better person than that. As I understand it, this board is for open discussion about the hobby, including finds, techniques and machines. You choose to help Etrac users and defend the machines MANY capabilities and your ARE GOOD at it. But, you can't realistically expect everyone to "love it" like you do. I used one for several years and decided it wasn't the machine for me...even with your qualified guidance. I can deal with that...IMHO, you need to come to a similar conclusion, stay rationale, not "drop out" and do what you do better than anyone else. When it comes to Etracs..."YOU'RE THE MAN!" Everyone knows it. Now, get back in the game and ignore the 'non-faithful' like me.

Just send Elmy a PM, he may want an email address to send the info to you. Once you get everything and maybe loaded on your E-Trac and a little yard testing I would suggest some questions sent to Elmy or you can post out here for all to see. who knows I may jump in there with a few answers.
I am pretty sure there is no link to any place on the internet that you can get the patterns and settings. Elmy is the guy.
Your trash will go down and your treasure will go up.

Not offended. Learnt a long time ago that the "laws of physics" and what mother nature lays down beneath us are determining factors to this hobby. diggininms, here is a picture of Elmy's 110 pattern and a full reverse of that would be the Quickmask magic that he has been talking about. The 110 pattern is the hunt pattern loaded into smartfind. By loading in a reverse into QM you can check a target and tell if it is good or bad. So with the reverse pattern your target if good will go quiet, if bad you still hear the target. All I can say is it works and I still use.
Keep in mind you don't need to run all of the 110, you can close what you don't want to hunt. Like I will close the nickels column down when the junk gets real bad and just run the open area on right side of the screen.

Just got back on this site after several years off on other hobbies. I will check out your "magic" Elmy. Thank you for your time and effort to the community. I was worried that I would not be able to find any "new" posts on the E-Trac when I returned to the hobby. So I am pleased that there is still good interest in this great machine.
Thanks for your post and welcome back.....There is hardly anyone here.....most have moved on to other detectors or have their own settings and their patterns locked in but people do check the etrac forum as I looked at the post "Elmy's magic system using you own patterns" has over 10k views. It is very hard to beat the FBS detectors.
I am still waiting for some to come full circle back to the etrac. Even minelab has discontinued the etrac without an update ever.

I have found so many old Silver coins wIth my Etrac and if you can come up with another custom program that would help me find another Silver,I’m all for it.
