Well long story short...
I bought a Fisher 1220X in 1982 and still have it. I wanted a new modern detector so
I researched for about two months, with a budget of $900.00.
Read all the reviews, watched all the videos.

I visited my "local dealer" (35 miles away), he showed me the Garrett AT Pro and it seemed to work
as I had seen in the videos. I still didn't buy.
I read some more, and decided to buy the Garrett AT Pro.

Bottom line:
NOT HAPPY

This detector is so chatty, worse that my old 1220X , and it you have ever used one of those you know
how chatty it is!!
The numbers are all over the place, it high tones constantly.

Heh...just be thankful you didn't stick with Fisher and get a F75...or a T2...unusable with EMI present and the "chatter" from those 2 would drive you ( it did me! ) nuts!
I don't know what to do, I guess I am stuck with it.

Anybody else go through this as a new user of the AT Pro???

HELP!!!
