M9 depth and separation abilities.

Any M9 users that can respond to the depth and separation capabilities of the coil? I have the M8 and have been thinking seriously about adding the M9. I know the 9" on my D2 is very impressive in both areas, thanks for any and all input.

Dan, I'm a believer. Hunting city parks I have added 28 silvers to the coffers this year. Most were masked in one way or another, some shallow some deep but I was able to get enough tone and a blip of VDI to dig. Amazingly I dug a seated in the wide open at not quite 5 in. down. But there was can slaw and pull tabs all around. And on my last hunt, about 8 inches down I hit a small rusty nail, a Barber dime and a wheat in the same hole. On that particular signal I had tone but low numbers, 49-50 with red line. Most others are giving me a high tone with numbers anywhere from 61 to 81. I am running sensitivity at 28 and recovery at 7 in ATLC. My deepest coin so far with the 9in. coil was an Indian at a good 11 inches. However I had recovery at 4. At 7 I have no problem hitting 8 & 9 inch dimes. Good luck.
